Pehle glass ka volume w.r.t. total volume ( of all 3 glasses combined) will be 1/(1+2+3)... Aise hi, 2nd glass ka volume= 2/(1+2+3); 3rd glass = 3/6... Ab alcohol ka ratio Water k respect me diya hai. To hum use Mixture ki respect me nikalenge... Pehle glass me Alcohol:Water is 1:5. So, Alchohol:Mixture = 1:(1+5); 2nd glass me Alcohol:Mixture = 3:(3+5); 3rd Glass me A:Mix = 5:12; Ab dekhte hain ki har glass me alcohol us glass ki volume me kitna hai. To, 1st glass me (Ratio of A:M x Volume) = 1/6 x 1/6 = 1/36; 2nd Glass= 2/6 x 3/8 = 1/8; 3rd Glass = 5/24; So, total alcohol/total Mixture = 1st Glass + 2nd Glass + 3rd glass = 1/36 + 1/8 + 5/24 = 13/36; So water = 36-13 = 23; Thus, ratio of Alcohol: Water = 13:23. I hope ye sahi hai.
