Relation between electric field and potential, concept of equipotential surface. Electric field given by partial differentiation of potential w.r.t position. E=-∂V/∂x,where y&z const.and so on for y& z. In r and θ ,E=-∂V/∂r, where θ const. Change in potential given by dV= -Edr.i.e field is given by differential method and potential is given by integral method.
