Rafale deal was started in 2007 where MoD requested for 306 aircrafts. Dassault came up with the agreement in lowest bid but this deal was cancelled. Later 20015 this deal was again made by our government for 36 aircrafts. Dassault came up in joint venture with Reliance industries. Dassault decided to investa3% of the offset clause.The making of aircraft took place at Maihal. Aerospace offset clause is that of India pays France RS. 60,000 crore France will invest 50% of that on our country's private company for manufacturing of different materials required in our country
