Regional States is such a vast topic that it had to be divided into two parts. In this first part, we will discuss the Kashmir Kingdom which was supplanted by the Kashmir Sultanate and Shah Mir Dynasty. We will also take a look at Sindh and Kutch. Then we will see how Rajput states started emerging and growing throughout these two centuries after Alauddin Khilji. The two most prominent of them, Mewar and Marwar, will be explained in somewhat detail. The other regional states will be covered in the next lesson.
