Iltutmish was the real founder of Delhi sultanat he suppress the challenges of other slaves of Gauri like yaldauj and kubacha. He transferred the capital from Lahore to Delhi. He got approval of his rule from califf/khalifa. He refused to provide shelter to mangabarni and protected the boundary of his empire from changez Khan.
