Alauddin khilaji expansion of empire was a significant events in history of Sultanat age. He was the first ruler in medieval history who led military expedition towards South India. In North India he conquered several states among them most important is victory of Chittor. In South India Alauddin conquered devgiri Varangal Hoyasal but he couldn't registered victory over Pandya region.
