In option c and D trick is valid (that is end latter we don't know the gender) why not valid here?

because when the series is in p and q like p is the father of q p is sister of q p is son of q here we dont know the gender of q so this is the only reason why we skip and in option c and d u need to check the statements where they say q is father of p.... p is son of q they interchange p and q so there positions must change
