Sir what are the design criteria for breaker or hump?? The IRC recommendation for dia or radius of the breaker coz many cities/towns/villages we found 4 no. of successive breakers and sometimes the breakers are very high and sometimes very low.

As per IRC-99 (Indian Road Congress) code, in India speed breakers are formed by providing a hump of 3.7 m width and 0.10 m height for the preferred advisory vehicle at a speed of 25 kmph speed. For further details about Speed breaker specifications you can refer the link

But sir 3.7 m width..........????????? I have never ever see the hump of 3.7m width. Generally the width(dia of hump) of hump is 150-200 mm.
