Absorption of digested food

In this lesson I have discussed about absorption of digested food . Absorption takes place in all parts of elimentary canal but the major chunk of absorption takes place in small intestine. Particularly ileum of small intestine is the part of elimentary canal where maximum absorption takes place. Undigested food get excreted in form of fecal matter.
