Eight is Gate: A new gate is established between borders of India with other nations, but there is a fight going on as to which all languages will be used to write on that gate. Nine is line: there are various lines created in the field by the bonded labours under orders of zamindars, but suddenly JLN and SVP comes and abolish it . Ten is hen: As soon as hens are released from the vehicle they run here and there till they find a good place, and again run if they find a better one.   3. Tenth Schedule 52nd CAA,1985, Anti- Defection Law . Provisions relating to disqualification of MPs and MLA/MLCs on ground of defection Voluntarily gives up the membership of the political party (Ticket) If he votes or abstains from voting, contrary to any direction issued by the original political party without prior permission (15 days condoning period) Ex: Karnatka recently Independent member: disqualified if join any party, Nominated: within 6 months join any PP no problem, after 6 months, disqualified

Final decision/ arbiter on disqualification of a member : The Chairman or the Speaker of the House Exception: Merger with not less than two-thirds members and a member of the original political party joins the new group (formed subsequent to the merger) or opts to function as a separate group (old group that may or may not maintain the identity of the older political party)

  5. Before 91st CA Amendment (2003) a split in the original political party whereby 1/3rd of the members of Legislature belonging to the original political party may form a separate group and this did not attract disqualification oeversubsequent to the 91st amendment, his exceptioo longer available

(74th CAA,1992) 18 matters including: Urban planning including town planning; Regulation of land-use and construction of buildings; Planning for economic and social development; Roads and bridges; Water supply; Public health sanitation conservancy and solid waste management:
