NEET Attempts – Age Limit
The number of attempts for NEET is not directly linked to the age of the candidate. As per the latest regulations, there is no upper age limit for appearing in the NEET examination. Candidates of any age can attempt NEET provided they fulfil the other eligibility criteria, which include qualifying for the 10+2 examination with the required subjects and minimum qualifying marks.

NEET Attempts – Minimum Qualifying Marks
To be eligible for attempting NEET, candidates must secure the minimum qualifying marks in the 10+2 examination or an equivalent qualifying examination. The qualifying marks for NEET are determined by the Medical Council of India (MCI) and are subject to change. As of now, the minimum qualifying marks for general category candidates are 50% in the physics, chemistry, and biology subjects combined. For reserved category candidates, including SC/ST/OBC, the qualifying marks are 40%.

NEET Attempts – Educational Qualification
Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology will be the minimum requirement for the NEET test. Candidates may attempt the NEET exam if they have completed class 10+2 with the required topics from a recognised board.
