No sir not necessary , in whole expression if -ve sign is their like -(x-2)(x-4) then i think in wavy curve method we start plotting sign from right hand side but in this time right side we choose -ve sign ,right sir!
thanks to respond
please reply on my concept

keshav, how did u find the factors of x^2+3x+8<0 ??

Akhilesh Pimparkhedkar

Ayushi, you make it very complicated...actually you dont have to make it into quadratic!
you can write the question as (x+4)(x+1)/(x-2) 2 < 0 by cross multiplication both are positive hence we dont change its signs!! and then 2 is also getting zero so it get simply as
(x+4)(x+1)/(x-2)<0 ! so now you can further solve it....and get (-infinity,-4) U (-1,2) !
:) :) :) :) :) :)

oh shit! that's vry simple. btw thnks akhilesh

but, I want to ask one more thing that if there is 1 instead of zero in rhs then how will i proceed like in this ques......4/(1+x)+2/(1-x)<1

Akhilesh Pimparkhedkar

I make one quadratic but I can not factorise that....can you send me answer if you have....it helps me to think in that way!

Ayushi Gupta

sure!
(-infinity,-1)U(1,infinity)
btw...I solved this ques. lf you'll have doubt u can ask.

Can you give me the answer to this question? 2x - 3/x + 4 < -3

Akhilesh Pimparkhedkar

(-4 , -9/5]

Ayushi Gupta

yeah! right

ABHAY KUMAR TIWARI

how did the answer came bro

Akhilesh Pimparkhedkar

add 3 on both the sides...then cross multiply...you get the equation as 5x+9/x+4 < 0
then apply our rules! we can not take -4 because it makes infinity so exclude that and its less than hence we have to take negative area which is (-4 , -9/5]

Alok Mishra

akhilesh it would be (-4,-9/5)...not (-4,-9/5]
