Protein synthesis is accomplished through a process calledtranslation. After DNA is transcribed into a messenger RNA (mRNA) molecule during transcription, the mRNA must betranslated to produce a protein. In translation, mRNA along with transfer RNA (tRNA) and ribosomes work together to produce proteins.
