In this lesson I have discussed about how the trader Portuguese now try to become ruler of India ,how Portuguese king appointed 1st governer general in India (Francisco de Almeda ).And resistance shown by local ruler after him we have seen about Albuquerque. Also how they set up their first factory and how powerful their navy was they used to carry canons over their ships and they were having powerful navy and it was the main reason for some sort of consolidation of Portuguese in India.
