India, is perhaps the only nation which have majoritarian type election system coexisting with multi party system.Since 1980s when coalition politics emerged, India’s party system has experienced tectonic shifts.Unfortunately due to this multi party system and coalition system, India has witnessed numerous problems like horse trading, lack of transparency, erosion of debate and deliberation culture of parliament. At the same time, this change in Indian party system has been good too. The positive aspects have been, role of States in policy making even foreign policy, fulfilment of regional aspirations and ensuring that democracy doesn’t become a tyranny of majority.Globalisation has also impacted Indian party system. Like Western nations where Brazil saw the emergence of Worker’s Party, Greece of Syriza Party and Hong Kong of People’s Party; India too witnessed an urban phenomena which culminated into formation of Aam Admi Party(AAP).These changes has its own contradictions. However we need to accept them as they are inevitable. We need to work towards ending the contradictions by tackling the repercussions. As said by former PM Dr Manmohan Singh, “Solution of political problem, lies in ethics”.Hence it can be concluded that India’s evolving party system can strengthen as well as weaken democracy depending on which way it moves.
Hi Hardhik, Nice points, Am not sure of the essence of the question so I cannot comment whether your answer is in right direction or not. But one suggestion from my side is avoid using names of political parties as question demands only a party systems, try to be generic, names of eminent individuals can be mentioned though.

Good attempt Hardik.. Guess your optional is either Pol Sc or Pub ad ;) However not much stress has been given on explaining the paradox in the present times and how is it a contradiction?
