There were many revolts and Movements like Sepoys revolt, peasant and caste movements during the colonial legacy. This video showcases the events happened during this period. Firstly about the sepoys revolts, this video shows the initiation oof the revolt by sepoys of the 34th Native Infantry because of introduction of Enfield Rifles and more over there where many other causes for the Ignition of the revolt which where given in depth including the causes of failure of revolt as well as a conclusion Next is the peasant revolt where peasant fought against the Britishers due to the imperial policies of the Britishers like Land revenue systems which imposed the higher rate of taxes, even we can see Mahatma Gandhi involving in the peasant movements like Champaran Satyagraha. Next is the caste movements which is actually not against the Britishers but it is an anti-brahmanical movement By end of this session, one can get familiar with the movement and revolts which can be taken for independence but these became an initiation to get Sampurna Swaraj.
