problem-18 option B
Hey Aparna 🙂 it is absolutely right answer. keep it up and ask me if you have any doubt. 👍
Hey, Pretty nice lesson but I am not sure about the third example. In the third example, you have a hydroxy group present which will show acid-base reaction first and then nucleophilic attack. If I am not wrong there is also a possibility of intrasystem reaction as well. What do you think about this?

Thank you
butyl lithium has butyl doesn't replace the place of halide..only replaced by lithium..y so.. it may follow the sn2 mechanism and halide can get replaced by butyl group.. why it is not happening...I have a doubt..plz DNT think silly and reply me sir..plz
Here, you have to know charge of particular group which is to be attached in place halogen.I mean,Li has more electropositive character than butyl group.Therefore,SN2 factor also depends on size of group,i.e butyl has bulky size than Li.
sir can you tell me which books to follow for organo lithium and organo cuprates from jam perspective
the hard work you do refects from the basic approach delivered from ur videos..
