Important properties of ratio Property 1: If we multiply all the terms of a ratio with the same number, then the ratio remains unaltered Example: A:B=2:3 A 2 2Xc 2X4 8 B 3 3Xc 3X4 12

Important properties of ratio Property 2 If we divide all the terms of a ratio with the same number, then the ratio remains unaltered Example: A:B=2:3 2

Important properties of ratio Property 3 Relation between 2 ratios A B 2:3 B: C 4:7 What is A : B : C A: B2X4:3X4 8:12 12: 21 Hence A : B : c 8:12:21
