Lesson 7 of 19 • 31 upvotes • 9:24mins
In this lesson I have discussed about properties of ideal genetic material. What properties should be present in any genetic material so that we can call it an ideal genetic material. So we have discussed few properties which are there in DNA but not in RNA . That's why DNA is more stable than RNA . After that we have seen the difference between DNA and RNA . We know that RNA is very reactive molecule due to presence of 2' OH group in every nucleotide and that makes it unsuitable for acting as genetic material. Thank you
