Lesson 7 of 8 • 3 upvotes • 11:05mins
This lesson covers the types of angular measurements used to describe the orbital motion of a satellite/planet around a planet/sun respectively which gives us instantaneous as well as intuitive information about the location of the satellite revolving around the planet. Hence, their Time Periods-T and the Time elapsed-t between any two points in an elliptical orbit. Important Note: The Flight path angle-phi and the Zenith Angle-Gamma have opposite representation of the notations used in the standard books.
