Aerospace Engineering is considered to be one of the most complex engineering to the mankind. It covers a hell lot of Physics and Mathematics. The core subjects which forms the base of Aerospace Engineering are Aerodynamics, Aircraft Structures, Gravity, Orbital Mechanics, Spacecraft Dynamics, Aircraft Performance and Flight Mechanics. Vishal will be covering most of these topics and presenting them in a very simple form.

Introduction to GATE Aerospace Engineering (AE)

In this I have talked about the GATE Aerospace exam which is not a piece of cake for most of the students.

You must have atleast one standard book. And I have refered my first preference for each core subject. Having a book in your hand makes your study life easier. Because you do not ask for your rifle when you are surrounded by the enemy.

Also the strategy that I have asked you to follow is very effective in covering most of your syllabus well ahead of the Gate exam.

How much is one Newton Force?

The purpose of this subject being included in Aerospace Engineering is to have fair understanding of one of the unseen forces of the nature while executing our planetary manned and unmanned missions where we require the knowledge of dynamics of the spacecraft maneuvering in a space environment.

We computed how much force the gravity applied on us as well as on other planets.

But how much potential it has to execute the mission; when it applies the force on aircrafts, satellites, pilots, astronauts, PSLV, GSLV, on other planets and asteroids as well?

Introduction to Orbital Mechanics

Orbital Mechanics (Eqn of Trajectory, Velocity n Time Period)

This lesson covers the types of angular measurements used to describe the orbital motion of a satellite/planet around a planet/sun respectively which gives us instantaneous as well as intuitive information about the location of the satellite revolving around the planet. Hence, their Time Periods-T and the Time elapsed-t between any two points in an elliptical orbit.

Important Note: The Flight path angle-phi and the Zenith Angle-Gamma have opposite representation of the notations used in the standard books.

Orbital Mechanics (Anomalies)

What should be done to make the space missions efficient?
How to execute the space missions which requires the  satelltie to change it's orbital plane or simply the size of the orbit needs to be changed by using different techniques?
