ANSWERS: x When fowler flaps are extended they move rearwards on tracks & become angled downwards.This increases the area of the wings & increases the camber of the rear area of the wings.This increase in area & camber increases the amount of lift produced by the wing.But majority of the lift is produced at the flap area at the rear of the wing.So the cp moves aft after the flaps are deployed and so there is a pitch down moment
