GSAT-17 is an Indian communications satellite. Built by ISRO and operated by INSAT, it carries 24 C-band, 2 lower C-band, 12 upper C-band, 2 CxS, and 1 SxC transponders. The South Asia Satellite, also known as GSAT-9, is a geostationary communications and meteorology satellite operated by the Indian Space Research Organisation for the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation region. GSAT-19 is an Indian communications satellite launched by the Indian Space Research Organisation aboard a Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle Mark III on 5 June 2017.
