Details of all the missions. The Cartosat series of satellites are a type of earth observation satellites indigenously built by India. Up till now 8 Cartosat satellites have been launched by ISRO. PSLV-C37 was the 39th mission of the Indian Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle program and its 16th mission in the XL configuration. PSLV-C37 successfully carried and deployed a record 104 satellites in sun-synchronous orbits. PSLV-C40 was the 42nd mission of the Indian Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle program in the XL configuration. PSLV-C40 successfully carried and deployed 31 satellites in sun-synchronous orbits. RESOURCESAT-1 is an advanced remote sensing satellite built by Indian Space Research Organization. SCATSAT-1 is a miniature satellite providing weather forecasting, cyclone prediction, and tracking services to India.
