Mam you are saying that Beryllium will have less EA due to high penetration effect but the EA is directly proportional to penetration effect so the EA of beryllium should be more as penetration effect of s orbital is more . Then which one is right ?
Ma'am why for berrylium electron affinity is low.... penetration effect is directly proportional to EA...PP of Be should be high as it has 2 s electrons.... please explain
