Khilji dynasty was founded by Jalal-ud-din-Firuz khilje. Second dynasty of Delhi sultanate. The Dyansty is known for Faithlessness and ferocity, conquesi into the Hindu South, and for successfully fending off the repeated Mongol invasions of India. Alaudin khalje was the nephew and son in law of Jalal -ud-din. He raided the hindu Decan peninsula and Deogiri. Qutb ud din mubarak shah, as regent, Qutub killed his younger brother and appointed himself sultan. After khilji dynasty Tuglaq Dyansty ruled over Delhi sultanate with three important characters Gyasuddin tuglaq, Mohamed bin tuglaq and firoz Shah tuglaq. Gyasuddin tuglaq was the founder of that dynasty.
