Private Sector is on the imporant pillar of the economy. However, during the current scenario, it is not able to create job as required keeping in mind the jobs required. Few of the reaosns are: (i) Global slowdown, reduced domestic demand along with declining domestic demand. In such situation,private sector is not able to utilise is capacity and is not expanding and hence, no employement generation (ii) Due to increased competiotion, private sector is reluctant to hire permanent worker which will be an additional cost for them and reduce profitability (iii) Use of technolody has increased the speed of doing work and has many advantages but it also has adverse impact on job creation whereby use of technology reduces human effort (iv) Work culture in private sector whereby employee finds it difficult to maintain work life balance and he us expected to work day and night (v) Mismatch between job demand and the kind of skill available with the worker which makes him unfit for the job (vi) Unskilled and uneducated workforce who are not capable to getting employed in the job which need specialisation. Service sector is one of the booming sector which need speciliased and talented workforce. All the reasons along with few other factor play a role whereby jobs are not getting created in the private sector There is a need to boost the sector so as to enable them to conduct business efficiently and thereby help in creation of jobs (i) The Govt has already taken various measures to improve the ease of doing business so as to reduces hassles, boosting the business via Make in India scheme (ii) Their is a need to connect educational institution and Corporate so that the gap between skills required and available can be matched (iii) Initiative to educate the students from the very early age and vocational training for skill development so as to make them capable of working (iv) Motivating people to become enterprenuer so that they beocme job givers instead of job seekers. Various initiative have been taken in this direction s.a Start up India, Stand up India, Mudra Scheme etc. (v) Reducing compliances, single window clerance facilty and other measures to smoothen their interaction with the Govt so as to enable them to focus on operations. (vi) Focusing on MSMEs, cottage industry which are labour intensive. Private sector plays a very important role in the wholistic development of the country. It creates employement and thereby reducing burden on state for employment, help development of society by CSR initiatives. They are partner in growth and development of the country.
