This lesson deals with the structure of Chloroplast and its pigment Chlorophylls. Chlorophylls can also be regarded as photosynthetic units of plants. The structure is quite similar to the structure of animal Hemoglobin except the central metal ion. Moreover structural differences among different types of Chlorophyll molecules have also been discussed here from a chemical point of view. Overall I tried to represent all these in a simple way so that students from non-botany background can easily understand it. Hope you like this...
