Lesson 3 of 18 • 67 upvotes • 14:41mins
This is a Course on Demography and India's scenario. I have explained all the theories and concepts. Even then if you have any doubt just let me know. The book in its end talks about India's population structure hence it is something you all have to brush through as there is nothing to explain much. It basically applies the concepts and indicators and presents the facts to us. Also, please keep in mind, India's demographic dividend currently is high hence there are significant attempts to bring about skill making initiatives such as Skill India to give employment to the large number of people who are within the cohort of working age group. *correction*: the working population is from 15-64 and not 54 as mentioned in the slide, it is a typing error hence just see that.
