You are welcome:) See you are looking for the incorrect useage. At any rate from the 3rd statement is a correct substitution of under any and every circumstances... coming to our answer which is the 1st statement, we have a rate of interest (because that's a percent) but never ever Innproper English do we say rate of the chocolate... see malls during sales, they say prices slashed instead of rates slashed:) rate seems to mean price because our lovely movies seem to equate the two. Clear now?

You are welcome:) A doubt is actually good news to any educator; it symbolises that somebody listened and questioned what he/she learned implying progress for the student and the educator. Win-win!
parents are right (to be proud of their children) or parents have right ( (to be proud of their children). If you are using the word Right as Privilege then you have to use "HAVE" . You are Right means you are morally correct (just).

So it is any parent's privilege to be proud of their child and/or children. Both the sentences Parents are right to be proud of their children and Parents have the right to be proud of their children are correct. But when we say Parents have the right to be proud of their children, you are implying some negative undertones to the sentence. Also the question is not identify the error. It is identify the erroneous usage of the word right. Going on a slight tangent here but being right doesn't mean being morally correct. Being right or wrong is always a matter of the perspective of the observer.
It was good especially the choice of questions....
