Find the Measure of Each Angle of an Equilateral Triangle

Find the Measure of Each Angle of an Equilateral Triangle.

All the three sides of an equilateral triangle are always equal to one another.

So, Let’s make an ABC equilateral triangle.

For example, AB = BC = AC.

∠C = ∠A = ∠B ( Angles opposite to equal sides of a triangle are always equal to each other )

Let x be ∠A = ∠B = ∠C

In ∆ABC,

∠A + ∠B + ∠C = 180° (by the angle sum property of the triangle)

180° = x + x + x

3x = 180 degrees

X = 60 degrees

∴ ∠A = ∠B = ∠C = 60°

As a result, all interior angles of an equilateral triangle are 60 degrees.
