Answer: Aizawl is the capital of Mizoram which is a north-eastern Indian state. Aizawl is regarded as the state’s largest city. All key government offices, the state assembly building, and the civil secretariat are located in the 112-year-old town.
Aizawl is situated above the Tropic of Cancer, on a ridge 1132 metres above sea level, with the Tlawng and Tuirial river valleys to its west and east, respectively. It is a magnificent setting, perched atop the hills, that attracts travellers throughout the year.
