What is NITI Aayog?

NITI stands for the “ National Institution for Transforming India”. NITI Aayog was formed on January 1st, 2015. It is India’s premier policy-making institution which is expected to improve the economic growth of our country. NITI Aayog has two hubs called “Team India Hub” and the second one is “Knowledge and Innovation Hub.” It is additionally created as a state of Art Resource Center, with important resources, skills and knowledge.

The Prime Minister of India is the chairperson of NITI Aayog. Zero Budget Natural Farming was also promoted by the NITI Aayog council. Also, natural farming is also being promoted as the “Bhartiya Prakratik Krishi Paddhati” mission under PKVY (Paramparagat Krishi Vikas Yojna.
