Air is a homogeneous mixture.

Homogeneous mixture- A mixture that is composed of uniformly distributed components throughout the mixture is called a homogeneous mixture.

Heterogeneous mixture- A mixture that does not contain uniformly distributed components and can be separated easily by taking samples is called a heterogeneous mixture.
Air is composed of different types of gases they are nitrogen- 78.09%, oxygen- 20.95%, argon-0.93% and carbon dioxide- 0.04%
