IBPS RRB Exam Date 2022 – Check Prelims And Mains Exam Dates

To be eligible for the IBPS RRB 2022 Exam, a candidate must meet the following criteria:

• Eligibility Criteria – Nationality / Citizenship

• • Requirement – a citizen of India, a subject of Nepal, a subject of Bhutan, or
  • a Tibetan refugee who arrived in India before January 1, 1962 to permanently stay in India, or
  • a person of Indian origin who now has relocated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam to permanently settle in India.
• Age Restrictions (as of 01/06/2022)
  • For Office Assistant (Multipurpose), candidates must be between 18 and 28, i.e., born between 02.06.1994 and 01.06.2004. (both dates inclusive).
  • For Officer Scale- I (Assistant Manager)- Above 18 years – Under 30 years, i.e., applicants must have been born between 03.06.1992 and 30.06.2004. (both dates inclusive).
  • For Officer Scale-II (Manager), candidates must be above 21 years old and under 32 years old, which means they must have been born between 03.06.1990 and 31.05.2001. (both dates inclusive).
  • Officer Scale- III (Senior Manager)- Above 21 years – Under 40 years, i.e., candidates must have been born between 03.06.1982 and 31.05.2001. (both dates inclusive).
• Language Competence

Candidates seeking the position of Office Assistant in any RRB must be fluent in the native language of the State/UT where the RRB is located to be considered for an interview.

 Educational Qualification:

i. A bachelor’s degree in any field from a recognized university or its equivalent is required. Candidates with a degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, or a related field will be given preference.

Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation

Management, Information Technology, Law, Economics, or Accounting;

ii. Local language proficiency as required by the participating RRB/s*

iii. Computer knowledge is preferred.

• Post Name: General Banking Officer, Officer Scale-II (Manager)

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in any field from a recognized university or equivalent, with a minimum of 50 percent in aggregate marks. Candidates in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics, and Accountancy will be given preference.

Experience – Two years as a bank or financial institution officer.

• Post Name: Officer Scale-III Position (Senior Manager)

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in any field from a recognized university or equivalent is require with a minimum aggregate grade point average of 50% Candidates with a degree/diploma in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics, and Accountancy will be given preference.

Experience – A minimum of 5 years of experience as an officer in a bank or financial institution is required.

• Post Name: Officer Scale-II Specialist Officers (Manager)

Educational Qualification: 

i. Information Technology Officer 

Specialist Officers (Managers) Information Technology Officer

Bachelor’s degree in Electronics / Communication / Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% in aggregate. Desirable:

Certificates in ASP, PHP, C++, Java, VB, VC, OCP, and other programming languages.

Experience: One calendar year (in the relevant field)

ii. Chartered Accountant – CA (Chartered Accountant) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Experience: One year of experience as a Chartered Accountant.

iii. Law Officer  – Degree in Law from a recognized university or its equivalent, with a minimum of 50% grades in aggregate.

Experience: Two years as an advocate or at least two years as a law officer in a bank or financial institution

iv. Treasury Manager  – Treasury Manager Chartered Accountant or MBA in Finance from a reputable university/institute

Experience: One calendar year (in the relevant field)

v. Marketing Officer  – MBA in Marketing from a reputable university is required for the position of Marketing Officer.

Experience: One calendar year (in the relevant field)

Officer of Agriculture

Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Dairy/ Animal Husbandry/ Forestry/ Veterinary Science/ Agricultural Engineering/ Pisciculture or its equivalent, with a minimum of 50% in aggregate marks.

Experience: For two years (in relevant field)
