What is the Indo-Russian Inter-Governmental Commission (IRIGC)?

Ans : Inter-governmental matters between India and Russia are handled by the IRIGC. An Indian-Russian “council” has been identified as this group’s “steering committee.” Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technological, and Cultural Co-operation is covered in the first section. The Russian Deputy Prime Minister and the Indian External Affairs Minister are usually in charge of this meeting. Both countries’ defence ministers co-chair the Military Technical Co-operation section of the commission. IRIGC’s two sections meet every year.
