Properties of Structure of Glucose. 1. Glucose on reaction with HCN we get - Cyanohydrin 2. Glucose on reaction with H2N-OH we get- Oxime 3. GLUCOSE on reaction with Br2 water we get- Gluconic Acid 4. Glucose on reaction with HNO3 we get - saccharic Acid 5. Glucose on reaction with HI we get -- n-Hexane 6. Glucose on reaction with (CH3CO)2O we get Pentacaetete. Wait for next lesson.. Next lesson will be on open and cyclic structures of glucose.
