Don't you think that the meaning of the word "pathology" is different when used in the tale than the one explained at the end?
  1. . Open System- can transfer mass and energy between system and surrounding. Closed System- can transfer only energy. Isolated System-can transfer neither energy . nor matter.

  2. Broad divisions of systems 1) Homogenous system-When the system is completely uniform throughout Example-a gas box, a pure crystal 2) Heterogeneous system- will have Two or more phases Eg liquid and its vapour

  3. Types of walls to bound a system Rigid and Non Rigid Walls * Permeable wall and Impermeable Walls Adiabatic Walls and Non Adiabatic Walls

  4. Thermodynamic Properties Extensive Properties- Its value is sum of values of the parts of the system. Example-Mass

  5. Intensive Property-Value doesn't depend on size of system.

  6. Why we need Thermodnamic properties? We define them to compare between two thermodynamic systems. f they are same for two different systems.They are essentially same!
