  3. Bhagavad Gita - The two words Bhagavad' and 'Gita' mean "the song of the Lord". - Gita is a philosophical poem, which was authored by Sage Vyasa, the legendary compiler of the Mahabharata. Gita comprises 18 chapters (700 verses). It is a part of the epic Mahabharata Lord Krishna gave this knowledge to Arjuna who refused to fight the battle against his kins After hearing Gita, from Lord Krisna, Arjuna's doubts and delusions were dispelled and he fought against Kauravas and lead Pandavas to victory
