A microprocessor is a single chip on mother board of a computer, which control all the operations and perform many other operations on the computer. Microcontroller is a complete board available on a single chip package means that, where microprocessor uses individual chips for its operations additionally, but a microcontroller doesn't need any external device for its operations.
