UPSC CIVIL SERVICES PRELIMS 2018
DO'S Try to spend a bit more time to study the core subjects History, Art and Culture, Indian Economy, Geography, as there are few terminologies, events, personalities and dates in these subjects that needs to be mugged up. V Solve previous years UPSC Question Papers only to understand the nature of questions that have been asked. For current affairs try to understand the issue in the news and correlate it with the basic traditional subjects. Selective reading - Choose few books over several. Instead of referring many books for each topic it is advised to study the same topic several times from one or two book. Be Optimistic Do some meditation Take proper sleep & diet.
DONT'S X Don't mug up numerical data X Don't try to purchase new material from market as it may be garbage for you. X Don't follow others; make your own strategy and follow it religiously. X Leave your facebook/whatsapp or any other social media aside while you are studying. X Don't try to revise all the current events as it is impossible.
Don't Stress. Do Your Best. Forget the Rest.
