sir please do something for the answer writing course for mains.it has come to a halt from around 2 weeks.
  1. HOW TO COMPREHEND THE PASSAGE?


  2. Restrict yourself to the information provided in the passage which may either be stated or implied Answers (Conclusions or Inferences) can not extend outside the premises of the provided information Avoid options taking 'Extreme position on an issue: Traps . . e Key words like - always, every, only, no, never, must, all, have to indicates such traps .Blanket generalisation of any issue or situation also indicates Extreme position of the examiner, against which an aspirant has to take guard


  3. . Be an Active Reader Focus while reading the passage Concentrate Avoid any distraction or diversion of - Focus on emphasizing words like . Try to understand the meaning of different words, thoughts - Only, each, in particular, in fact, specifically phrases and expressions (Underlining helps) For example difference between: - Students vs Girls A person vs people People of India vs People of the world


  4. Precise and thorough understanding of the given passage will help to better connect the ideas and evaluate the given information & reach to the actual conclusion answer) . . Learn to differentiate between the possibility and certainty as per the given information


  5. Quick glimpse of the questions before reading the passage is always a good idea Circle / Underline key words in a sentence : to go back and reread later . . In certain questions with close options, Eliminating the wrong options will get you the right answer

Expand your vocabulary . to answer Vocabulary based questions - to understand the passage and answer inference & conclusion based questions So, while practicing, mark words which you don't know and try to find their meaning. Good vocabulary increases your understanding of the author's intent . .
