This is the first lesson in Cell Biology. In order to understand how living systems work , one has to understand how life originated , developed and diversified over 4.5 billion years of Earth's history. I have given a brief introduction about the origin of life by comparing it with the mythological studies for better understanding. I have talked about some important theories in origin of life, though there were many theories proposed in this topic. These are vital theories in this lesson from the examination point of view.
