while bani prepares ice cream for the first client from 10:00 to 10:02 and is then free till 10:05 (for 3 mins) when the second client comes in and orders ice cream, now bani is again busy from 10:05 to 10:07

At 10:07 when bani was going to get free, the third client comes in and orders burger, so bani gets busy from 10:07 to 10:17 (10 mins for burger), after which she is free.

anish got free at 10:10 itself, so from 10:10 to 10:17, anish was free alone while bani was busy.

after 10:17, both got free.. so we have to consider only till 10:17, hence from 10:00 to 10:17, bani alone was free for 3 minutes and anish alone was free for 7 minutes, answer- 10 mins

  3. Analysis of the Paper 2017 Slot 1 paper: Data Interpretation Logical Reasoning - This section had the highest difficulty level in years. It is almost impossible to identify and classify the sets in DI and LR separately, in fact, the entire section can be termed to have DI based reasoning sets and Quant based reasoning sets, comprising of lengthy and calculation intensive questions. While initially the data and questions looked easy, upon attempting, they turned out to be complicated and time consuming. Number of Number of Non- Difficulty MCQs Section Number of Description Questions MCQs Level DILR 32 24 Very Difficult

  4. Analysis of the Paper In this section two sets were easy (Survey of students, Burgers and Fries) Routes between two cities, flight operations and Square matrix of pillar heights were of medium difficulty level. A couple of sets had 1 question each which were difficult to crack and students would have been wise to leave those questions out. Calculation wasn't much required in the DI sets. Logical reasoning questions were easy-moderate level of difficulty. 3 4 sets in this section could be attempted, so to get a 99%ile a score of 33-34 (raw score). Sections Topics Happiness Index - Difficult Matrix-Moderate Routes - Moderate Flight operation - Moderate Projects - Difficult Burger/fries -Easy Children Survey Easy PCM Difficult No. of questions Doable Data Interpretation 1-2 Logical Reasoning

  8. Direction for questions [Q35 to 38: Healthy bites is a fast food serving joint serving three items: burgers, fries and ice cream It has two employees Anish and Bani who prepare the items ordered by the clients. Preparation time is 10 minutes for a burger and 2 minutes for an ice-cream An employee can prepare only one of these items at a time. The fries are prepared in an automatic fryer which can prepare up to 3 portions of fries at a time, and takes 5 minutes irrespective of the no. of portions. The fryer does not need any employee to constantly attend to it, and we can ignore the time taken by the employer to start and stop the fryer. However, fries cannot be prepared in anticipation of future orders. Healthy bites wishes to serve the orders as early as possible. The individual items in any order are served as and when ready; however, the order is considered to be completely served only when all the items of that order are served. The table below gives the orders of the 3 clients and timing of orders placed. Client no Time Order 10:001 burger, 3 portions of fries, 1 order of ice-cream 10:05 2 portions of fries, 1 order of ice-cream 10:07 1 burger, 1 portion of fries
