Analysis of the Paper 2017 Slot 1 paper: Data Interpretation Logical Reasoning - This section had the highest difficulty level in years. It is almost impossible to identify and classify the sets in DI and LR separately, in fact, the entire section can be termed to have DI based reasoning sets and Quant based reasoning sets, comprising of lengthy and calculation intensive questions. While initially the data and questions looked easy, upon attempting, they turned out to be complicated and time consuming. Analysis of the Paper In this section two sets were easy (Survey of students, Burgers and Fries) Routes between two cities, flight operations and Square matrix of pillar heights were of medium difficulty level. A couple of sets had 1 question each which were difficult to crack and students would have been wise to leave those questions out. Calculation wasn't much required in the DI sets. Logical reasoning questions were easy-moderate level of difficulty. 3 4 sets in this section could be attempted, so to get a 99%ile a score of 33-34 (raw score). Direction for questions [Q35 to 38: Healthy bites is a fast food serving joint serving three items: burgers, fries and ice cream It has two employees Anish and Bani who prepare the items ordered by the clients. Preparation time is 10 minutes for a burger and 2 minutes for an ice-cream An employee can prepare only one of these items at a time. The fries are prepared in an automatic fryer which can prepare up to 3 portions of fries at a time, and takes 5 minutes irrespective of the no. of portions.
