Aasisha, you must have heard about Cape of good hope and gulf of khambhat. If you see their pictures online you will get very clear idea. But still, If a high land mass extents sharply into a sea then it form a cape and opposite to that if a part of sea penetrates into a landmass it becomes a gulf.

Dear Aaisha, Indeed! newspaper is a very important aspect of exam preparation, but above all it helps you to go grow as a person. It helps you to formulate your own opinion of subject matter, which is the most important thing. Now a days e-newspaper is availbale, you can also go to college library ,where you will always find a newspaper. Start reading editorials, it will give you insight of topic and how it effect our country and world at large. Always keep a broad persepective in mind that is you are going to be a administrative officer in your state so that you have to be well equipped with knowledge so you could serve your state the best. P.S: What is fun in doing something where you get no obstacle? Problems are somethings that make a journey memorable.

Aaisha start with NCERT first. It wil be both easy and effective. You can watch videos on Unacademy or youtube for the same. Make a timetable for you. Get familier with exam syllabus and pattern, and most importantly do not rush into things. Take it easy. Keep your moral high all the time. For english read a good grammer first, then also read some good books and editorials to get a touch of expressions.
