This interesting collection is about understanding the concepts of 2-D Kinematics. It begins by introducing the concept of simple 2D Kinematics using a particular question where the fundamentals of 1D Kinematics have been used extensively. It then uses the classic River Flow and Swimmer problem to further the idea of 2D Kinematics. It explains the independence of two directions and their independent calculations as well, with ratio dependence only. It also introduces the concept of acceleration in 2D motion and brings in the idea how acceleration must be calculated from the change in magnitude and direction of velocity. The next part of the collection deals with the components of velocity and their usage in the calculation of range and time of flight. It focuses on the horizontal component and calculates the range. It then sheds light on the concept of range and does a similar study in the vertical component to find the time of flight of the particle. It uses the concept of range and time of flight to discuss on how to achieve the maximum range in projectile motion. It also considers the vertical component of motion along with the horizontal and to deal with both of them simultaneously. The last part covers the projectile motion in a real life situation and allows to explore the problem with hints and explanations provided. This lesson deals with the concept of parametric equations and introduces the idea behind the requirement of such a system. his lesson advances on the 2D parametric equations and then extrapolated to the 3 dimensions. It further considers the circular motion as a parametric solving module.
