Sir, with all due respect, the Apple vs FBI case was not a case of privacy after death. The issue of privacy of the assailant was not even in question. It was a case where the FBI wanted the court to force Apple to intentionally create a backdoor into its software. Apple argued that this backdoor could be used by criminal elements as well and would have implications for millions of its existing users. Thus, it was a question about the privacy of everyone else and absolutely not of that particular criminal.
