The study introduces that the physical structure of the Earth has demonstrated its dimensions and features can be depicted in various forms. The landforms created by the sea waves have depended on the existing factors such as Cliff, Coves, Caves, dented coastlines, Stacks, arch, etc. Apart from this, the shape and size of the landforms created by actions of sea waves and their effects on the particular dimensions that dented in the specific regions. Moreover, the length and dimensions can be the crucial part of the coastal region by harming the attached regions; however, coastal features have formed due to marine erosion.
Erosion landforms
Erosion landforms can be considered as erosion by the agents such as “water, wind, and ice”. On the contrary, it is generally caused due to the marine reasons by the sea waves in the coastal regions by the deposition of agents. On the other hand, it is generally found in the coastal part of Odisha and the southern part of India.
Cliff
Cliff is an area of rocks that has been designed vertically and formed by the process of weathering of erosion. It is generally found in coastal areas.
Moreover, it has been notched between the High tidewater and Low tidewater by storming the sea waves along with the marine regions. In the marine regions, if the marine erosion is at the base then the cliff is at the high tide while affected by the bedrocks it becomes the low tide in similar regions.
Wave-cut platforms
The term “wave-cut platforms” generally occurred in front of the cliff due to the recession of its tide. Moreover, it is generally found to have a cliff on the powerful bombardment. Along with this, it can be highlighted through the shore platforms and narrow flat areas along with the shoreline of the lake.
Sea caves

Sea caves are generally found in the coastal region due to the weak and strongly joined rocks. Along with this, it has been divided into large and shallow erosions. Some of the examples of sea caves are limestone and chalks.
Depositional landforms

Beaches

Sabkha
It is a flat coastal plate with a salt crust and generally found in intertidal areas and coastal areas that have been flooded by the lagoon’s water during storm winds.
Apart from this, it is also known for its salt flats and found in the west -regions of India such as Gujarat and Maharashtra. On the other hand, it is also called the barren land and usually has no proper existence in the physical perspective of Indian maps.
Marine landforms
The terms “Marine landforms” can be highlighted as the continental shelf, slope, ridges, and trench found in the marine regions. On the contrary, it is generally found in the marine southern part of India and the west-coast regions. Apart from this, most landforms found in these regions occurred due to the high and conventional tide along with the coastal regions. On the other hand, these landforms mostly occurred due to the changes in erosion within the sub continental regions.
Marine cycle of Erosion
The waves are effectively active in these regions, having the sea caves and cliffs accustomed to the land waves. Along with this, there are irregular forms of erosion by cutting the coastal areas. The Marine cycle of erosion is generally found in the southernmost part of India.
