Brahmaputra Valley Fertilizer Corporation Ltd. or BVFCL can be regarded as a CPSE within the Ministry of Fertilizers and chemicals. This was formed as a result of the Namrup Unit of Hindustan Fertility Corporation Ltd for forming the new CPSE. Two Urea-Ammonia plants are operated by the company at Namrup through Namrup-III and Namrup-II in the Dibrugarh district located in the Upper Assam regions. This plant can manufacture 3.90 lakh MT of urea each year. Presently the Government of India is in the process of establishing a new government Urea project which will be entirely based on natural gas.

The individual who will be appointed as the Deputy General manager will have a salary somewhere between the scale of Rs 43200 – 3% – 66000. The minimum gross pay will be Rs 1,38,301 (approx.) Next, the person who will be appointed as the Deputy Finance manager will receive a salary somewhere between Rs 29100 – 3% 54500/-. For this position, the minimum gross pay will be Rs93308/- (approx). Lastly, the individual who will be appointed as the Accounts officer Grade I will get a salary somewhere between Rs 20600 – 3% – 46500/-. The minimum gross pay for this post will be Rs 66,184/- (approx). Hence, it can be concluded that the selected candidates will receive a salary of Rs 20600 – Rs 66,000 each month.
