Punchhi Commission

The Punchhi Commission was started by the Indian government in the year 2007 was set to be a Commission on center-state relationships. This Commission started to take effect on the 27th of April of the year 2007 so that they could relook into all the problems and disputes between the center and the state in the country. These issues were earlier taken care of by the Ministry of Home affairs under the Sarkaria Commission, which submitted its report in the year 1988.
